Where Faith and Clinical Science Meet
For many helping professionals, faith is not separate from their work — it shapes how they understand people, suffering, meaning, and healing. At the same time, ethical practice demands clinical rigor, evidence-informed care, and a deep respect for each person's autonomy and experience.
Leilani Mason built The Faith and Science Institute out of her own experience navigating both worlds. As a licensed clinical social worker and trauma specialist, she saw firsthand how much helping professionals needed training that took both dimensions seriously — without spiritual bypassing, shame, or abandoning clinical integrity.
The result is a training model that equips therapists, counselors, first responders, healthcare professionals, and ministry leaders with practical tools grounded in neuroscience, trauma theory, and a thoughtful integration of Christian faith.
